The purpose of the steering group is to provide expertise and assistance on the detailed technical considerations of the new business rates retention system and will oversee the work of the three technical sub-groups. The work of the group will inform decisions by Ministers on the options to include in any forthcoming consultation paper in Summer 2012. The discussion papers published on the weblinks below are for policy development and should not be considered as Government policy.
